SMASH! allows tennis clubs to voluntarily connect their own YouTube channel via Google OAuth. The connection is initiated only by the club or an authorised club admin.
SMASH! uses YouTube access only to provide the club-requested streaming functionality: in particular to create YouTube live broadcasts, create or manage live stream resources and stream keys, store the YouTube video ID or stream URL for a match, and display the livestream on the club page.
SMASH! does not read private YouTube content, does not sell Google or YouTube data, and does not share such data with third parties for advertising purposes. Access information such as OAuth tokens is stored only to the extent required to provide the streaming functionality requested by the club.
The club can disconnect YouTube in the SMASH! backend at any time or revoke access in its own Google account. After revocation, SMASH! can no longer create new YouTube livestreams for that channel.
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs by SMASH! complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
